Who this policy covers

This policy explains how B&C North Charleston Insulation handles the information you share with us. We're an insulation contractor in North Charleston, SC, and it applies to this website, starting from our home page, and to what you tell us by phone, through our forms or during an estimate at your house.

We collect only what we need to answer you, look at your attic or crawl space and do the job. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

What we collect when you fill out a form

When you send a request through our site, we ask for your name, phone number, email and the address of the house, so we can reach you and know where to come. You can also tell us about the job, like a hot upstairs room, a drafty floor or how old the house is, and that goes in with your request.

Our form runs on a third-party form service that stores your submission and passes it to us. That service handles the data under its own privacy terms, and we use it only to receive your request.

What we collect when you call or we come out

If you call us, we may note your name, number and what you need, so whoever follows up doesn't make you repeat yourself. During an estimate, our crew may take notes and photos of your attic, crawl space or walls, because that's how we price the work and plan it.

Those photos and notes stay with your job file. We don't post pictures of your house anywhere without asking you first.

Analytics and cookies

Like most websites, ours uses basic analytics to see how people find and use it. That can include the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser type, the site that sent you to us and a rough location based on your internet address.

Some of this works through cookies, which are small files your browser saves. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work if you do, though some counts and features may not.

We use this information in summary form to fix pages that confuse people and to see which parts of the site are useful. We don't use it to figure out who you are.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to reply to you, set up an estimate, write your quote, schedule and do the work, send invoices and follow up after the job. We may also use it to keep records the law or our taxes require.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't trade it with other businesses for their marketing. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, like our form, analytics, scheduling or payment tools, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it to answer your request, finish your job and stand behind the work afterward. Records tied to billing and taxes stay for as long as the law asks us to keep them.

When we no longer need something, we delete it or remove the details that point to you. If you contacted us and never booked a job, you can ask us to delete your request at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep a record for legal, tax or warranty reasons, and if so we'll tell you what we're keeping and why.

If we send you texts or emails, you can tell us to stop and we will. Some states give their residents added privacy rights, and we'll honor those where they apply to you.

Before we hand over or delete anything, we may ask you to confirm who you are, so we don't give your information to the wrong person.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, like limiting who on our team can see it and using services that protect the data they store. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise nothing will ever go wrong, but we'll tell you if a problem affects your information.

Children's privacy

This site is for homeowners and property owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The current version will always be on this page, and if a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know.

How to raise a privacy concern

If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, call us at (843) 278-0240, seven days a week from 8 AM to 9 PM, or send us a note through our contact page.

Tell us what you're asking for and how to reach you. We reply within 1 business day and will work with you until the request is handled.
